Meal times, especially dinners were like this. ( my mom would work,so dinner time was when we were together).
I was a very very fussy eater and mom would have to tell me so many stories to pacify me.
When I look at this picture, it just reminds me how much I look like my mom ( who's 28) now in this picture.
Those were some good times :)

ReplyDeleteI was a fussy eater too and mom had her set of strategies to get me to eat. Today my daughter is a fussy eater and boy does mom love retelling stories about my eating to my little one.. something about coming full circle... and boy does mom enjoy it.

ReplyDeleteFor a long time everyone used to think I looked like my dad, but as I grew older the similarity to mum came out clearly. Now even my daughter looks a lot like her grandmom :).
